Friday Feature: A Request for Science Jobs & A Special Message to N00B5
For You, By Me, Value For Value
Friday is usually only for Paid Subscribers…
This Friday, there is a section for Paid Subscribers, but the top is for everyone.
First, N00B, as defined by the Urban Dictionary, is not exactly what I mean. I enjoy mixing some Leet Speak into my daily writing.
Anyway, if you know anyone who is looking to make the jump and work overseas, regardless of their country of origin, send them this article:
I have a few new sign-ups from this piece, and I intend to now write Part 2.
I have seen some poorly planned ideas lately, and I would like to empower people to make a smart move, not just a move.
A word of advice for the end of the recruitment season: negotiate. I know you might be nervous, and I don’t want to add any stress to the process, but HR teams are also nervous (plus they want to go on summer vacation).
This week’s Paid content is for an annual subscriber who requested I do a special post on science-related jobs. I want to remind everyone, if you do a paid subscription, you can request special research, resume reviews, contract reviews, etc. I believe I helped someone this week with a resume issue (and I am waiting to know the outcome).
Is it worth it? Yes.
The normal jobs list will be out per usual, but for now, we are going to look at Science and Tech positions.
Let’s GO!
