While exposing myself to content on Reddit, I came across someone quitting their job at the US Post Office. Their final straw was an argument about sick leave. Here is what they did wrong, and what most people do wrong when taking any leave.

Before adding the paywall and my ideas for changing your life, if you have not joined the annual subscription, let me explain what this post will do for you:

  1. It’s going to ensure you can take all the leave you are entitled to, without any consequences; with no money left on the table

  2. You will learn you can use leave to enhance your recruitment timeline if you establish a healthy reporting pattern

  3. Your personal health will improve and so will your outlook on your job

If you have ever felt guilty for taking leave or had a supervisor give you a back-and-forth when you requested leave, that can stop now.

Is it worth $50.00 a year? Yes. Is gaining an extra in-person or virtual recruiting day without hassle worth $50.00 a year? Yes.
