Subscribers,
The school year has been a rough start. Things are calming down.
As I have mentioned before, I have developed some new AI tools. I am in a bad habit of adding features. The plan is to wrap up the three main tools in the next couple of weeks.
As soon as I am done, I will post some samples of the results. Maybe it will be worth pursuing, maybe not. We will see.
What I have learned from this process is that people are not applying for all the jobs they should be applying for. In the last three weeks, the main skillset in my talent stack that I have been using was developed between 1994-2002. I know, because in that timeframe I met the famed 10,000 hours required for expertise in some specific areas of technology.
The AI looks at all your experiences and does not make assumptions. For this recruitment season, I suggest everyone try that. Try and stop filtering our opportunities because of the job title or neophobia.
