is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Student Support Coordinator to oversee and facilitate student support services across academic, socio-emotional, and behavioral domains. This individual will serve as the bridge between the Learning Support Teacher, Guidance Counselor, classroom teachers, and administration to ensure a coordinated approach to student success.
The Virgin Islands Montessori School & Peter Gruber International Academy (VIMSIA) is hiring a Student Support Coordinator to lead and align academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional support services across our dynamic PreK–12 community. This role is ideal for someone energized by collaboration, serving as the connective thread between Learning Support, Guidance, classroom teachers, and school leadership. You'll help shape and implement individualized support plans, coordinate interventions, and ensure our school data systems drive meaningful, student-centered outcomes. This position is part of the school’s Leadership Team and works closely with IB Coordinators and our PGIA Director. You’ll lead the development of support plans, use internal and external data (including NWEA, PSAT/SAT, and behavioral tracking) to guide instruction and coaching cycles, and help inform strategy at the schoolwide level. Ideal candidates bring experience with MTSS, RTI, or UDL, and are confident using data to drive decisions.
